Ingredients

20 large pasta shells

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

15 oz ricotta cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

3 cups marinara sauce

1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.

Make the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until fully combined.

Stuff the Shells: Use a spoon to fill each pasta shell with the chicken and spinach mixture. Place the filled shells in a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Add Marinara Sauce: Pour 2 cups of marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, ensuring they are well coated.

Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top of the shells.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
