Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Optional: Fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, dill, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Pour the garlic and herb mixture evenly over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes to enhance the flavors.

Bake the Salmon: Once marinated, place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Garnish and Serve: After baking, remove the salmon from the oven. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and thyme sprigs if desired. Serve immediately with your choice of sides, such as steamed vegetables or quinoa.
