1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups broccoli florets

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon (juiced and zested)

1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth

3 tablespoons olive oil, divided

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by rinsing the shrimp under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken or vegetable broth. Set aside.

    Sauté the Broccoli: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Once heated, add the broccoli florets. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to turn bright green and slightly tender. Remove the broccoli from the pan and set it aside.

      Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
