1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)

2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

For the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Swirl:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup pumpkin puree

¾ cup powdered sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Make the Brownie Batter:

      - In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in both the granulated and brown sugars until well combined.

        - Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

          - Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully incorporated.

            Prepare the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Swirl:

              - In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, egg, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and the mixture is creamy.

                Assemble the Brownies:
